Action Stations

Busy season is coming!

Weeds are growing – thank goodness for organic weedkiller.  It is only effective on small weeds (so need to do it every week at this time of year).  It really does work, particularly on a really hot day.

More exciting – the basil has germinated, tomato plants will be transplanted next week and Elizabeth’s flower seedlings are looking amazing.

The oracle (Phil) has always raved on that the 20th August is when everything takes off.  This is because the day lengths increase and there is more heat in the sun.  We are starting to wonder if this has come earlier this year.  Please don’t anyone mention Christmas decorations.  Time to start digging the garden!
